The owner has a 10-year background in running Restaurants in Mumbai and Delhi, India, and is a specialist in Indian Cuisine. The main chef is a specialist in Indian Cuisine, having worked as a chef at a famous restaurant in India for 17 years. The second person is a specialist who has specialized in Nepalese Cuisine for 10 years in Nepal. Please enjoy the exquisite taste created by these three sides that you cannot find at other restaurants. |
同じ店の移転前の項にも同じようなことを書いたが、今回また新しく1店舗のカウントになるようだ。あの時とはちょっと食べるものを変えてみよう。チウラ（糒、干し飯）のセットだがアチャールやら干し肉やらが付け合わせてあるものにする。前回はちょっとは汁気のあるカレーとの組合わせだったからいいのだが、この度はドライなアイテムばかりだ。そこでスープも追加。シリアルのようにパリパリ食べるのもイイんだが、これをかけて少々ふやかして食べるのもまた楽しみなのです。願わくは、サンバルがあったらなあと思うも、ないんでフツーの野菜スープをオーダー。
チウラは取り立てて味わい深いというものでもないが、これまで食べた中では最も軽い食感でサクサク食べやすいものでした。これならコーンフレークスみたいな感覚で乙なものと言えなくもない。ただコーンフレークスも牛乳に浸して食べるように、これも何らかのスープで伸ばしたい。では実際野菜スープをかけつつ頂いてみよう。
オオ！スパイスの効きが増強されますね。こりゃあうまい。とくにスクティ（干し肉）の味付けにかなり辛めのスパイス加減となってるようで、ここにスープをかけて溶かすと辛くておいしい。チウラはこれぐらいアツアツのスープだとすぐ戻ります。それはまたしっとりした加減と味が追加されてまた美味しくなる。
最初に述べた通りスープがサンバルだのラッサムだったりすると、とてもそれらしい組み合わせになるとは思うけど、ネパールにもそれがあるのかは知らないし、この野菜スープで食べてもとても美味しいです。スープはこの量なら二人分になるので、二人で行ってお互いチウラのセットを頼んでスープを分け合うのがちょうどよいだろう。
移転前の項にも書いたが、タイトルは、子供の頃読んだマンガの「忍者のもちもの」というページの記憶から。その中に糒（ほしいい）が入ってて、子供心に干からびたコメを連想し、歯がどうにかなってしまわないんだろうかとか思ったものですからよく覚えてるｗ
