An Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that mainly serves chicken dishes, located about a 2-minute walk from Ogikubo Station. I was out drinking in Ogikubo and visited the third restaurant on the same day without a reservation. Smoking is allowed at all seats at the counter and tables except for private rooms. I don't smoke, but many of the friends I went with were smokers, so I chose this option. Perhaps it's because all seats are allowed to smoke, which is rare these days, but when we visited, it was already past 10pm, but it was almost full and very popular! Since this was our third restaurant, we had a couple of drinks each and light meals such as cold dishes and gizzard sashimi. The food is like a typical chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but there are lots of fun things to do, such as fortunes written on the chopstick bags (it was Nakayoshi lol) and drink coupons that you can win at random! The staff were all friendly and gave me candy and hokkai when I left. I thought it was great that they were trying to make it fun like that!
