40年以上前の荻窪ラーメン戦争の直前，私は春木屋から寝返った丸福派でした．理由は単純でその日の行列が春木屋さんより丸福さんの方が短かったから．今でも，余りポリシーは変わりません．その丸福が西荻窪にもあることは十分前から存じてましたし，西荻窪はつねさんに伺う際にも前を行き来してました．でも，西荻窪南口西のこの辺，昼間から出来上がっている人々も多く，個人的には高円寺よりディープな雰囲気を感じます．
いただいたのは中華そばと餃子．中華ぞばは春木屋ほどではないですが，ちょっと魚介の風味が強くなったでしょうか．懐かしく美味しくいただきました．
で，荻窪ラーメン戦争，私の中での圧倒的勝者は昔懐かしい鶏ガラ＋生姜風味スープの「三ちゃん」です．丸福に関しては，荻窪より私はこちらのお店が好みです．微妙に味が違うのかしら？
