西荻窪駅北口徒歩2分、路地を入って行くと住宅の合間にポツンと紫の壁が特徴的なお店が現れます。
店内はテーブル席4つとカウンターでこじんまりとし雑多な感じ。週末の11:45に行くとカウンター席のみ空いてました♪ラッキー♪
気さくで陽気なおかあさんから説明があり、
メニューはランチミールス1種類(1,200円)のみで、アチャールや一品が追加可能。ミールスの内容説明とご飯の量を聞かれて、この日はワダがふき入りへ変更(＋100円)がおすすめとのことでそれで注文。
そして、ワダ以外すべておかわりできます♪

・ロビア豆と冬瓜のオーラン
・ポテトポディマス
どれも本当に塩加減や味付けが引き算されていてとても薄味で、各々食べると素朴な味ですが、混ぜ合わせると何倍にも味が膨らみます。
ワダは空気を含みふわっふわ、ふきの苦味を楽しみます。
もちろんライスとそのほか何種類かおかわりしました。
食べ終わっても身体が軽くて、健康的な気分♪
でもおかわりしてお腹はいっぱいで満足感もあります。
今まで食べたミールスとは一味違い、とらや食堂ならではの繊細な味つけで日常使いしたいカレー屋さんです。
