吉祥寺の大きな商店街の中にあるパン屋さん『リンデ 吉祥寺本店』へ。看板に大きなプレッツェルの絵が書いてあります。
ドイツ風のライ麦パン、プレッツェル、ペストリーを提供するスタイリッシュなベーカリー。2 階に落ち着けるイートイン スペースがあります。
｢ドイツパンの本当の美味しさを、できるだけ忠実に、この日本で再現したい｣と、1997年4月吉祥寺駅前サンロードに、『ドイツパン専門店 ベッカライカフェ・リンデ』を開店。職人の手で一つ一つ焼き上げるリンデのパンは全て、マイスターであるワーナー氏直伝の正統派ドイツパンとのことです。
購入したのは次の品です。
■プレッツェル 182円
■ベーコンブリューゲル 208円
■ミッチェレ 182円
看板商品の『プレッツェル』は塩味が美味しい。太いところは硬めの食感。細い部分はカリッとしていて違う食感が楽しめます。
『ベーコンブルューゲル』と『ミッチェレ』とも甘さが全くない食事としてのパンですね。おかずとともにいただきました。
日本風のアレンジしたパンを食べ慣れているおじさんには新感覚でした！
