初めて大阪で梅の花に行ったのは25年程前になるかなぁ。当初は高級会席店の様な素敵な佇まいなのにリーズナブルで、女子会や何かの記念日には足繁く通ったものだが、各地に店が増えるにつれ値段が上がり質が少々下降し始めた為、ここ10年位足が遠のいてしまっていたがひょんなことから久しぶりに利用。
15年程前にはお部屋で記念撮影をしてカードにして成長記録頂いていたものの、iPhone 普及でそのサービス自体が消滅。しかしながらメニューが開店当初の様にシンプルな状態に戻っておりいい感じに。
取れた和室の個室は少々お隣の声が聞こえるが、パンデミックの影響で障子が開けられている為、仕方がない。
昔はベテラン女将風の方がいたものの、今やバイトの若者たちが和装で小まめなお茶のお代わりなど、一生懸命にサーブしてくれて微笑ましい。それでも色々値上がりする中、頑張ってお味とお値段は昔に戻った感じでキープされている企業努力が見えていいと思います。
賑やかな吉祥寺の便利な東急百貨店の上で落ち着いた和室で食事が出来るのはありがたい。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。
