2018年7月28日（土）昼食。
アトレの1階にあるこのサンドウィッチの店、ずいぶん前からおいしそうだなと思って眺めていた。でも今まで買ったことはなかった。以前に賛否両論の笠原将弘さんがＴＶ番組で「男は黙ってカツカレー」と言っていて笑ってしまったことがあったが、そういう文脈から言うと、男子たるものサンドウィッチなど食べている場合ではないという感覚が僕にはある。いやあった。ついさっきまでは。
台風12号が近付いている土曜日、11時30分ごろ、前を通り掛かって買ってみようかという気になった。ちょうど雨がやんでいた時間だったので、買って井の頭公園で食べてみることにした。
アトレ吉祥寺限定と書いてあるトリプルサンド（タマゴ＆黒豚メンチカツ＆フルーツスペシャル）（555円）と、ブランのＷチーズハムサンド（453円）を頼んで買った。合計1008円。公園に行ってベンチで食べる。
タマゴサンドはまあまあ。黒豚メンチカツはかつがさくさくでかなりおいしい。フルーツスペシャルはいちごとキュウイで、意外にとてもおいしかった。一方のブランのＷチーズハムサンドはまあ普通だった。
ホームページによると今25店あるチェーンのようなのだが、なかなか良いと思う。僕の前後には常連らしいお客さんが立ち寄っていつも買っているらしいサンドウィッチを買っていた。
