Written in March 2024. I missed lunch time again today and it was almost 3pm. Most restaurants have already finished their lunch, so at times like this, the only places I can go are Ramen shops or places that are open all day. I suddenly remembered Freshness Burger. They are a little more expensive than Mac○ and offer burgers and fries made with safe ingredients. Recently, I have been studying about various additives and I try to be careful, but sometimes I want to eat Hamburger and fries. When that happens, Freshness Burger is the place to go. Cheeseburger 490 yen and fries drink set 500 yen, 990 yen including tax. The burger is filled with thick-sliced tomatoes and lettuce. The seasoning is simple so that you can really taste the meat, but it's delicious. The buns are fluffy and have a delicious buttery flavor. The fries are fried on the spot using Hokkaido potatoes. Simple but delicious! No need for bad sauce or ketchup. It's not too salty, and you can enjoy the taste of the potatoes. Even at the big chain burger places, it seems like a set meal costs around 700 yen these days (I haven't been there in about 10 years), so if it's an extra 300 yen, I would definitely choose this one. Until a while ago, I thought it was a bit pricey, but now that I think about it, this is a great deal. There are some restaurants that offer gourmet burgers with a particular focus, but those places usually have huge portions and cost over 2000 yen, so I think Freshness Burger has the best of both worlds. They're particular about the ingredients, but the size is just right and the price isn't too high, so it's very convenient. I was reminded once again of how good this restaurant is. I'll come again.
