吉祥寺駅からサンロードを歩いて、商店街が終わりの方にあるお店です。
２階にあるのでなんとなく入りにくい感じもあるのですが、結構中は普通の喫茶店です。
どうもカフェのご主人が音楽好きのようで、大量にレコードが飾ってあったり、ライブの告知があったたりと、最近はあまりサブカルの街感が薄れて来た吉祥寺では珍しい感じです。
カレーは何種類かあったのですが、スパイシージンジャーカレーを注文。
セットでコーヒーも頼みました。＋２００円でサラダも付いてくるようです。
待っている間に店内を見回してみると、海外のロックバンドのポスターが飾られていたり、洋楽が延々とかけられていたりと、かなり音楽ずきには居心地がいい感じです。
そしてカレーは、生姜の味が前面に出ているカレーです。
じゃがいもとトマトがあって、結構主張しているのですが、生姜の味が一番強いです。そしてスパイスの感じもほんのりしつつ。なんというか珍しい味です。
でも変わっている味ながら、結構美味しいので好きな人も結構いるのではないでしょうか。
たまに食べたくなりそうな味のカレーです。
