末広通りの美味しい焼鳥屋さん。
焼鳥激戦区の吉祥寺においては、あまり情報を聞かないお店でしたが、看板だけはよく目にするので以前から気になっていました。
そんな中、よく行くバーのマスターと情報交換をした際にオススメだと言われたので、この度初来店した次第です。
場所は吉祥寺を代表するラーメン屋の真風が入っているビルの２階です。
看板が渋いので、かなりレトロなカンジかと思いましたが、意外にわりと普通の店内でした。
でも決してオシャレではなく、オヤジ臭い店かなとは思います。
若者や女性はほとんど来ないでしょうね。
さて事前に仕入れた情報では、店主が店に立つときと立たないときがあり、店主が串を焼けばもれなく絶品とのこと。
入店すると、どちらも店主に見えるようなイカついおっちゃんが２人いて戸惑いましたが、とりあえずどっちかは店主だろうということで安心して串をオーダーしました。
そしてその期待通り、串はどれもスゴく美味しかったです。
ネタが大きくて、焼き加減も素晴らしい仕上がりでした。
すべて一括でまとめて焼くのではなく、一本一本その串に合わせた焼き方で丁寧に焼き上げている感が伝わります。
串以外にもレバテキなどの鶏メニューももちろん絶品でした。
鶏以外のメニューはもう少し努力が必要かも。
しかし大変満足で、いいお店を発見することができました。
営業時間も深夜３時までやっているので便利です。
