2016年9月4日（日）夕食。相方と。
遠目に新しい店ができていることに気が付いて、行ってみるとスポーツバーだったので入ってみた。
樽生ビールの中から、相方はキルケニーの1/2pint（500円）を、僕はバス・ペールエールの1pint（900円）を注文。食べ物は、フィッシュ&チップスM（880円）とソーセージ盛り合わせ（980円）を頼んだ。
店内にいくつもあるモニターでは野球のU18の決勝の日本と台湾の試合を流している。勝負の行方に興味はないのだが、スポーツってどうしても観てしまう。この店は野球が優先なのかな。その路線を明確に打ち出すことが先決という気がする。僕たちは入口にギルバートのラグビーボールが置いてあったので入ることを決めたのだが、普通は、「野球か、サッカーか」だろう。
僕がバス・ペールエール1/2pint（500円）を頼んで、少しして相方もそれを頼んで、料理をもう一品、ビーフインギネスシチュー（980円）を頼んだ。うーむ、料理はどれも今二つくらい。ただ、好きなスポーツゲームを友人たちと観ながらビールで流し込むには、これくらいで問題ないのかもしれない。
会計は5159円。ちょっと安いような気がしてあとでレシートを良く見ると、ハッピーアワーで1パイントが200円、1/2パイントが100円、それぞれ割り引きになっていた。精算時にそう言ってくれていたら印象が良くなっていたのに。
それと、立地がラヴホテルの裏口の目の前なのがどうも……。まあ、事後にもう一杯飲んで行くという手もあるか（普通は順番が逆か（笑））。
