Tokyo's first Hong Kong popular cafe [Cha Chaan Teng] opens in Kichijoji after opening in Iidabashi!
Even Hong Kong fans will be satisfied! You can enjoy classic dishes from the authentic Hong Kong cuisine! Hong Kong San Kee Cha Chaan Teng has an authentic atmosphere that makes you feel like you're i |
After getting my first haircut of the year, I met up with my friend in Kichijoji for a holiday lunch. I had been interested in the popular restaurant "Hong Kong Chan Kee Cha Chaan Teng," which also has branches in Iidabashi and Akasaka. The highlights here are egg tarts, bolo pao, kaya jam sandwiches, Hong Kong milk tea, and more. They have a wide selection of local dishes that are perfect for a meal or tea for one person. And the fried instant Ramen made with Demae Iccho, which is also displayed in the store, is apparently a favorite dish of musician Hiroshi Fujiwara. In the end, we decided to share the value lunch set of 1,380 yen (tax included), "Porridge + Cheong Fun Set" and "Wonton + Dim sum Set." You can choose the type of porridge and Cheong Fun. First, we started with a weekend treat of Premium Malts. (I've been doing this a lot lately^^;) The shrimp Cheong Fun had a chewy skin. The shumai was full of pork and juicy, and went well with beer. The porridge is packed with the delicious flavor of Seafood ingredients and has a mild taste. The wonton noodles are thin Hong Kong noodles and a simple salty soup, making it light and delicious. It's like eating it in Hong Kong. There are four large shrimp wontons, so it's very filling. I'm full. Next time, I'd like to try the fried instant Ramen and the Bo Lo Pao sandwich. Thank you for the meal!
