吉祥寺駅からは徒歩5分ほどだろうか。シアターの中に併設されたカフェで、観劇客がいるときはすぐに一杯になってしまいそうな店だが幸い今日は空いていた。
メニューは薬膳カレーとハヤシがある。要するに甘(ハヤシ)か、辛(カレー)を選ぶということのようなので、とりあえずカレーをチョイス。トッピングの目玉焼き(150円)を付けてドリンク込みで1,250円。
薬膳カレーというだけあってスパイスの風味がかなりアピールしているカレーだ。鳥ひき肉と野菜がよくブレンドされて味付けもしっかりしている。つけ添えも薬膳風。ガルバンゾ？のクミン風味が美味。人参のラペは色彩的にも効果を放つ。
カレーの食後感に満足しているときにドリンクが運ばれてきた。やや！ なんとドリンクとともに皿に盛られたソフトクリームが同伴！ おっとこれはメニューでは見落としていたなあ。こんなのが付くんだね。それだけに余計嬉しい。
デッキテラス越しにのんびりと路地を眺められる席で爽やかな薬膳カレーの後のコーヒーとソフトクリーム。至福感も倍増という感じだなあ。ごちそうさん！
