I found this store while walking. We heard that you can eat rare kamado-grilled game and raw meat, so we made a reservation online through Tabelog and two of us visited on a public holiday. I had made a reservation for a table seat, but it didn't seem like they were taking seats, so I was almost directed to a counter seat at first. When I asked for my reservation, I was seated at a table. The counter seats at this restaurant where you can watch the kamado-yaki cooking process seem to be more popular, but I prefer the calm table seats. The interior of the store is chic and very nice. The quiet customer service is also nice. However, it was strange that each time I served the male partner who was sitting in the lower seat first. It was lunch time on a public holiday, but the number of customers was about 60%. I ordered the lunch course for 3000 yen. Since the main kamado-yaki was Ezo deer, there was an additional charge of 500 yen for each person. There are only two types of meat that can be eaten at the default price for the main course, and most require an additional fee. Since I wanted to eat raw meat, I also added beef carpaccio. Half size is 1000 yen. The course consists of three types of appetizers, roast beef, salad, grilled main course, cheesecake, and roasted green tea. The appetizers were delicately seasoned, and I especially liked Prosciutto, which had a nice aroma. Unfortunately, the roast beef was a little stringy. My partner's grilled Ezo deer was perfectly cooked, but mine was a little overcooked. The system is for two people to order the same piece of meat, so it seems like it's grilled on a block and then cut into pieces. I think my meat was on the slightly thinner edge. However, there was no odor, and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of the lean game meat with salt, mustard, and pepper. The incense from the stove is also nice. The beef carpaccio went really well with the parmesan cheese and white mushrooms. I liked it the most. The cheesecake was also delicious with a strong aroma and a smooth texture. The curry has a lot of spices and is rich, but the seasoning was too sweet for me. It tasted like it had a lot of jam-like stuff in it. Come to think of it, the roast beef sauce had a similar strong sweetness. It may have been made sweeter by calculating the balance with the incense, but it was a little different to my taste. I had a glass of red wine, which was the cheapest, at 700 yen, but I liked it because of its gorgeous aroma. My overall impression was that the restaurant and the food were stylish, and the work was done with care, but the portions were small, even for lunch, and I felt that the total bill of 9,300 yen for two people was too expensive. Around Akasaka and Shinbashi, there are many restaurants where you can get the same quality food for 6 to 7 times more. I think the rent is higher than in Mitaka, but competition is fierce. Lately, fashionable shops that are high-end but not very cost-effective have been opening branches one after another in central Tokyo and Mitaka, but why is that? Even though the rent is relatively low, does this seem like an area where there are many wealthy people? Mitaka is an elegant city, but unlike neighboring Kichijoji, it is basically a town of people with their feet on the ground. I want to see if these shops will be loved by the locals and take root.
