練馬のカレーといえばケララバワン一択だと思っていたのですが隣の桜台でもカレーの美味しいカフェがありました
カレーは４種類、メインは地元野菜を沢山使用したたっぷり野菜のチキンカレー。黒板に使用野菜が書かれておりました
そしてビーフに和出汁のチキン、バターチキンの３種はあいがけ対応カレーになります
この日はクリスマスということでXmasハッシュドビーフやほうれん草としめじのチキンカレーもありおそらくこれらもあいがけ対称だと思われます
お冷はレモン水でスッキリ、ただの水でないお店はやはり期待してしまいます
■２種あいがけ 1400円
はじめにあっさり系のオニオンスープが提供されました。その後よき塩梅でカレー着皿
タコ焼きの如く熱でメラメラとなびく鰹節が強烈に香る和風出汁のチキンカレーは
出汁だけでなく味噌や梅干しも加えている相当な創作でありながら軸はしっかりインド
それにしても鰹節ってパンチありますね、カレーに負けてません
牛すね肉と赤ワインで煮込んだビーフカレーはスパイシーさと適度な深さピリッと辛さ
インド系に欧風と違うジャンルながら混ぜてみると想像を超える旨さが待っておりまして、この組み合わせで正解だったようです

■自家製プリン 650円
カフェだけに香り高いイカしたコーヒーでしたがデザートも凄かった
硬めでコクのあるカスタードプリンに生クリームが山盛り、食べ応えあります
因みにこの日は可愛らしいクリスマス仕様のプリンもありましたがさすがに中年男性おひとり様の身分で頼めるほどハートは強くありません。
