都電の庚申塚駅を降りて地蔵通りと逆側に3件ほど行ったスーパーコモディイイダの対面の小さなカレー屋さん。10年以上カレー屋が続き今の店は3件目だと思う。店員さんはインド系の男性3名で日本語はまずまず。やや無愛想に見えるが、シャイで話しかけるとボソボソと応えてくれる感じです。さてカレーはメニュー豊富だが、セットメニューは800円くらいからで、大きくインドカレーとネパールカレーに分かれる。違いはよくわかりませんが店員さんに聞いても多分理解しづらい答えが返って来るでしょう。カレーの辛さは5段階あり私は辛いのが好きで5を頼んだが期待通りの辛さです。普通は３くらいでいいと思う。インドカレーはナンが選べておかわりが出来るらしいが、このナンでおかわり出来る日本人はそんなにいないだろう。私は最初の画像のネパールカレーを選んだが、チキンや豆、マトンが選べた。お勧めはマトンかな？臭みはなく、柔らかい。スパイスのよく効いたエキゾチックな味がします。ジュースが付いてくるセットもありますが、お勧めはラッシーです。辛いカレーに甘い味がピッタリです。夜は雰囲気が良いのでアルコール類もお勧めですが、ビールなどリーズナブルな値段です。お客はハッキリ言って常に貸し切り感覚でしたが、最近は増えて来て、1〜2組のペアがいたりします。ウーバーや常連さんの一人客もチラホラですが、基本的にはいつもガラガラです。でも千円そこそこでこれだけの味と量と雰囲気が楽しめればコスパとして悪くありません。もう少し客がいてもいいのにと思います。尚、最後の画像のセットはラッシー付きで800円です。これからもちょくちょく来るでしょう。
