桜も満開の中ランチで伺いました。
場所は上板橋駅と氷川台駅の中間にあり、上板橋駅からだと商店街を抜け川越街道を越えたあと昔の中本のちょっと先で城北公園沿いにあります。
確か以前はたしかトンカツ屋があった場所でこちらのお店になってだいぶ経ちます。
おすすめビーフシチューと日替わりランチを注文しました。
見た目は素晴らしく丁寧な盛り付けです。
ビーフシチューは。うーん。
良く煮込んでありほぐれるが肉の繊維が固くまるでジャーキーの煮込みみたい。
ブラウンソースはやや苦味があるものの旨味はしっかりしている。
ただソースが平皿のビーフにかけた程度で単品やパンで食べるには良いがランチでライスと共に味わうにはやや少なく感じる。
日替わりはカツレツのトマトソースとハンバーグの組み合わせで見た目の色合いもよくお得感があります。
味はカツレツも下味が薄めでこれもライスに合わせたものではなくパン仕様。
ハンバーグはブラウンソースはビーフシチューのそれとは異なり苦味なくなかなか美味しい。
肉の味付けはあっさりしているが柔らかく食べやすい。
全体的に薄味で料理にインパクトは少ないがアフターコーヒーやプチデザートもあり割安なので、盛り付けも綺麗な食事でのんびり優雅に過ごしたい時には良いかも。
ドリンクを頼むよう書かれたお願い事項はやや強いる感じがしてやめた方が良いと感じたので、皿を下げる時にでも気兼ねなくデザートのタルトとドリンクを薦めた方が好感がもてる気がします。
