1995年12月高田馬場で創業 |
高田馬場から成増に移転してもう8年近く。相変わらず行列できる人気店。
土曜お昼12:30お店到着。店外に10人程度の行列。15分程度待ち。店内はカウンターのみ11席。BGMはなく、調理する音と、麺を啜る音だけが店内に広がるが、変な緊張感はなく快適。
塩油そば（1,050円）に生玉子（50円）と味付玉子（100円）を食券で購入。
油そばは極太麺でしっかり茹でられているものの冷やしてあるので、かなりしまっており歯応え充分。
サーブされる時は卵黄のみしか見えないが、しっかり混ぜてくださいと言われて、混ぜるとタレと一緒に中から刻んだチャーシューとネギとメンマが現れる。
塩味のタレは旨味が相当強く塩味あるものの塩っぱさが気にならない。ブラックペッパーとの相性抜群で、とてもいいアクセントに。中盛りまでは無料なので350gの中盛りにしたが、あっという間に食べ切ってしまった。
油そばはやもするとただ濃厚なだけのタレで喉が渇くばかりのことが多いが、今回のは全く別格の仕上がり。久しぶりに美味しいと思える油そばだった。
