時間に余裕ある時にオススメ
巣鴨駅近くにある伯爵、新宿・池袋駅の近くにもチェーン店を出店しているようです。店の照明、内装はかなりゴージャスで昭和的なノスタルジックな雰囲気が漂う。そして平日のお昼にもかかわらず、利用客はやはりサラリーマンではなく年配の方がメインです。モーニングメニューはなんと午後2時までの提供できる、ゆっくり寛げることが売りではないかと思われる。
クリームシチューのセットを注文したところ、サーブされるまで30分かかっちゃった。午後の打ち合わせに間に合わなくなるのでかなり焦ってしまった。もう料理の味を楽しんでいる場合じゃない、8分で完食。
でも銅製のカップで提供されたアイスコーヒーは濃厚で、鶏肉と各種野菜が入ったクリームシチューも円やかな味わいで美味しかった。食パンもサクサクで美味しかったので、お時間に余裕があるようであればパンのおかわりをお願いしていたかもしれない。
いつまでもいられる喫茶店なのに、スピーディーなランチを求める自分が悪かった。

前回とほぼ同じタイミングで伺ったところ、今日は待ちなし、料理の提供は注文から17分ーーサラリーマンランチには不向きだが、前回よりだいぶ早くなった。
注文したのはビーフシチューセット。静かなところがよいので一番奥のテーブルに案内してもらった。
デミグラスソースに、牛肉、じゃがいも、ニンジン、マッシュルームの豊富な具材が入っており、前回のクリームシチューよりボリュームを感じる。
野菜もお肉もほろほろでおいしかった。バターと一緒に提供されるパンは半切れデフォルトですが、+150円でお代わり可能とのこと。
オーダーもサービスもゆっくり目なので、料理はさほどおいしいわけではないが、内装も雰囲気もよいので、長居したいときにお勧めです。
