Remarks |
From the restaurant's website: "We will be closed for spring break for approximately two weeks, from April 3rd to 17th, 2023. We will resume operations from dinner time on Tuesday, April 18th." |
I often go to Japanese Cuisine on holidays because I want to drink sake, but I made a reservation at an Italian restaurant for the first time in a while to have lunch with wine once in a while. The deciding factor this time was the variety of dishes. If you want to drink many types of wine, it's not fun if you don't have a lot of dishes. I was looking forward to this restaurant because I read a review that said they serve many antipasti before the appetizer. There is only one lunch course (6,000 yen including a service charge tax and service charge). It is a Western-style building with a history and elaborate design. The interior is unified in brown and has a calm atmosphere. The soft sunlight shines through the white curtains and is very pleasant. The food is as good as the reviews say. First, there are mini choux pastries with the scent of white asparagus and black truffles. Next, there is a black truffle flavor mixed with egg and mayonnaise. Next, there is rice and vegetables such as celery in a small bowl. Next is crispy baked cheese. This has a good flavor. Homemade bread with a rich butter flavor. After Prosciutto and small zucchini, it is finally the appetizer. Nine dishes are served on a large white plate. Smoked mackerel, marinated octopus, tuna on zucchini, grilled cornmeal with white fish, grilled eggplant with caviar, and other appetizers are lined up for drinking with wine. Several of the four types of white wine by the glass of the day, and one red. Tax and including a service charge, so it's about 2,000 yen per glass. I chose each one while listening to the explanation, and the taste was just as I imagined it. It was very delicious. For pasta, I chose black truffle risotto (+3,120 yen). It was topped with a generous amount of large, plump truffles, and had a nice aroma and rich flavor. It was delicious. For the main course, I chose beef cheek steamed in red wine, and my companion had sea bream poire. The meat was tender and the fish was soft and fluffy. For dessert, there was fondant au chocolat. Sweet snacks were served with coffee, and granita was served at the end, so there was a lot of service spirit until the end. We drank quite a bit, and with the service charge at lunchtime it came to nearly 19,000 yen per person, but the friendly and polite service made us become fans.
