A kushikatsu Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located behind the A3 exit of Hakusan Station. I happened to pass by and was drawn to the reasonably priced menu so I decided to try it. Came in on Saturday around 6pm. You will be taken to a seat on the second floor. There is a kitchen and counter seats on the first floor, and there is also underground seating. At first, the order is verbal, but halfway through, it becomes a QR code order. The items I ordered were: ・``Seared Yellowtail Sashimi (¥580)'' ・``Salted Bonito Seared Small (¥580)'' ・``Salted Potato with Butter (¥480)'' ・``Beef Tendon Tofu (¥400)'' ・`` Freshly fried tofu topped with condiments (¥380) ・Chimaki with braised pork (¥330) ・ Okonomiyaki skewers (¥300) ・Cheers set Junior set 3 kushikatsu + drinks under ¥500 (¥770)・“Cheers Set, Boiled Beef Tendon Set, Boiled Beef Tendon + Drinks Under 500 Yen (¥770)” ・“Cheers Set, Oden Set, 2 Types of Oden + Drinks Under 500 Yen (¥770)” “Kansai Set” is a great value that comes with drinks and snacks. A set. The 3 selection Kushikatsu are: ・Pork cutlet (¥150) ・Shrimp (¥200) ・Eggplant (¥100) The two types of selection Omakase are: ・“Daikon (¥200)” ・“Yaki Chikuwa (¥ 150)" and selected the following drinks: ・"Super Carbonated Kaku Highball (¥470)" ・"Honey Lemon Chuhai (Shochu cocktail) (¥400)" ・"Kamiyama Sudachi Wari High (¥500)". I tried using the set of 3 types, and all of them are good value, but the kushikatsu is especially good value. The batter on the ``kushikatsu'' is crispy and has a texture similar to fried food. It's a shame that the sauce is so modern, it's light and slightly sweet. The radish in the oden has a creamy texture that can be easily cut with chopsticks. It's topped with sweet white miso, which goes really well with it. The ``sashimi'' is a good portion for the price, but I'm glad that it has plenty of seasonings. There are two kinds of yellowtail sashimi, and the fatty meat is interesting. “Salted Kara Potato” is a skin-on potato with lots of salted fish and butter. It definitely has a strong taste that will make you want to drink alcohol. The ``beef tendon'' has a slightly salty bonito flavored soup stock. Silken tofu with a firm texture and melty tendon meat. The texture of chopped onions is also an accent. ``Atsuage'' is cut and then fried, so it's piping hot. It has a square, crispy texture that you can't taste at home. ``Chimaki'' is full of braised braised rice and has a sticky rice texture. Perhaps by chance, it was browned and the crispy texture was also an accent. “Okonomiyaki Kushi” is a Fried Skewers type of Okonomiyaki. The crunchy texture and large size of the fried Takoyaki make it satisfying to eat. Not only the kushikatsu but also Seafood was delicious and it wasn't a bad restaurant. It's a shame that smoking is allowed, but I think it would have been a good idea to make a reservation since it seems to have separate smoking areas. With all-you-can-drink options starting from 1 hour, it was a restaurant that catered to both quick and hearty meals.
