2021年4月某日の11時過ぎに訪ねた。
田端駅から徒歩1分ほど。ホテルメッツに隣接して営業しているカフェ「プロント ホテルメッツ田端店」。
程好い広さの店内には先客5名ほど。
注文カウンターで「サーモンのたらこバター」¥650＋「サラダセット」¥300を注文。
サラダセットのアイスコーヒーを持ってテーブル席に座り、料理を待つ。
7,8分ほど待って提供される。
サーモンとバターが乗ったパスタにかなり小さいサラダ、アイスコーヒーの組み合わせ。
サラダはスッキリとした味のドレッシングだが、野菜の種類が少なめで物足りなさはある。
バターを溶かしながらたらこパスタを味わう。薄切りのサーモンはクセが無くて食べやすさはある。
たらこの量はやや物足りない。もうちょっとたらこが絡んでいると良かったかもしれない。
生パスタで調理されていると思うが、麺のモチモチさには欠けているような印象。味的にはイマイチなパスタセットであった。
アイスコーヒーは思ったよりも量があるので、パスタとサラダを食べた後にはオフィスまで持ち帰ってコーヒーを味わう。
ボリューム、クオリティを鑑みて、値段以上の価値があるとは言い難いパスタのセットメニューであった。
