At around 4:20, I was glad to find a lunch menu. It's a one-minute walk from Komagome Station on the Yamanote Line and Tokyo Metro. "Noda Stores Branch" A retro-style interior, with J-POP playing. There are counter seats and tiled tables. The shumai are being prepared in the kitchen right in front of you. Handmade, the anticipation is building. ■Assorted shumai set meal 850 yen The soup is a little salty but has a dashi flavor. It contains lots of green onions, spring onions, and white sesame seeds. What!? It came with one shumai. The meaty shumai is delicious. I left half of it and submerged it in the soup. It adds more flavor to the shumai and soup. It's a shame that the rice is a little dry. There were three types of shumai in the assortment, four pieces. There were two normal Gyoza / Dumpling in the soup. The texture was firm, meaty, and full of flavor. I wonder if the sweetness comes from the finely chopped onions? The meat juices slowly ooze out, it's so delicious!! It's filling and delicious even without any toppings. Cheese shumai sprinkled with finely chopped basil. The spice is like black pepper, I think. Spicy shumai with a chili pepper stuck in it. Meat juices and chili oil drip out from the inside. The umami of the meat, the flavor of the skin, and the spiciness are in perfect harmony!! These spicy Gyoza / Dumpling are so delicious. All three types are eaten as is, without any toppings.
