[7 minutes from Sugamo Station] Restaurants that prides itself on authentic French cuisine and French wine ◆ Courses from 2,800 yen
[chez f.] has the concept of being a restaurant that even beginners French cuisine can enjoy. You can enjoy carefully prepared dishes one by one at reasonable prices. Our recommended courses start fro |
French cuisine home-cooked food in a residential area in the back streets of Sugamo. restaurant uses the original Western Cuisine shop/ Coffee shops as it is. On the day I visited, the owner's female chef was responding in one operation. The menu is small but distinctive. Is it because they took over the demand as the original Western Cuisine store? While there are Western Cuisine menus such as curries, Omelette Rice and Hamburg, there are also slightly nostalgic French home dishes. Unfortunately, the sucroot (stewed meat with sauerkraut) was sold out on this day. There were also weisswurst (white sausages), so I thought it was an Alsatian dish, but there was no particular direction. As an appetizer, I ordered steamed mussels in wine (1800 yen), pate de campagne (800 yen), roasted US beef (2600 yen), and homemade country-style bread (250×3 slices). In addition to non-alcoholic drinks, you can drink white and red wine by the glass (600 yen each). Red served me a special Languedoc one of the Cinsault variety for 600 yen. In addition, for dessert, there is a tarte tatin (800 yen per person) on this day, so I will also have drip coffee (400 yen per person). There is also a course menu, but reservations are required. Pâté de Campagne with a crushed epis seems to be handmade, but Restaurants It's not so much a pâté as a pâté of meat or wind that has been well laid. There is also a volume for 800 yen. It goes well with country-style bread. The mussels may not be lively, but they are steamed in wine with a good amount of flavor and a good balance of flavors. The roast beef was sold out on this day, so it became a grape beef in the United States. It must have been a cow that fed Angus cows wine meal as feed. It was said to be roasted, but it seemed that the degree of doneness was adjusted while resting finely in a frying pan instead of baking in the oven. Maybe he has confidence in his pottery. Since it is US beef, it is not soft, but it has a chewy texture and a good flavor. The last one I added, Tarte Tatin, is not an orthodox one, but a Hachette d'Esserre style in which apples boiled in red wine, tart dough, and Ice cream are broken apart after being decomposed. In fact, this was the best of the day! He also has a lot of sense. The work is serious, and each one is not bad, but as a store, the direction is somewhat threatened. I don't know what kind of customer base they are thinking about. There may be a few elderly people living in the local area who enjoy the nostalgic Western Cuisine and the slightly more French-like course that is an extension of it, but I think that the level of cooking is a waste if it is only for them. However, it is difficult to say whether there is enough elaborate food and cost-effectiveness to make French cuisine enthusiasts go to this restaurant away from the main street. Anyway, one thing I can say is that I want you to turn on one of the lights so that you can see that it is open outside the store at night! There was a sign saying OPEN, but it was so dark that I almost mistook it for a holiday.
