2021年10月某日の19時頃に訪ねた。
大塚駅から徒歩3,4分ほどの場所にある焼鳥居酒屋「やっとこ 大塚本店」。
程好い広さの店内には先客5名ほど。
テーブル席に3人で座りメニューを眺める。
まずは「サッポロ黒ラベル 中ジョッキ」¥390で喉を潤す。ちゃんとしたサイズの生ビールで390円は安い。
焼鳥を中心につまみを注文。
うずら醤油漬け ¥290：かいわれが乗ったうずら醤油漬け。サッと出てくる濃いめのつまみでビールを飲む。
豚バラ ¥130：塩で味付けした豚バラ串。良いサイズ感で食べ応えがある。値段以上の満足感は得られる一品。
白レバー ¥200：レア気味に焼かれた白レバー串。これが200円で食べられるのはありがたい。臭みも無く、新鮮なレバーを堪能できる。タレが甘すぎ無いのも良い。
おつまみ皿ワンタン ¥390：パクチーとネギが添えられたワンタン。ツルッとした皮と歯応えの良い具材にエスニックな味の組み合わせが良い感じ。
厚切りハムステーキ ¥590：どこか懐かしい厚切りハムのステーキ。キャベツとポテトサラダが添えられているのが嬉しい。酒のつまみには良い。
つくねセンパイ ¥200：この店の推しメニューであるつくね串を食べてみた。食感が良く、刻んだ大葉が入って風味も良い。200円で食べられるなら良い。
おしんこ盛り合わせ ¥390：4種の漬物の盛り合わせ。いぶりがっこが入っているのが嬉しい。生ビールから「ホッピーセット（黒）」¥370に切り替えて、塩気と酸味を楽しむ。
ねぎま ¥150：食べ応えのあるねぎま串。もも肉のジューシーな感じと大ぶりなネギの組み合わせも心地好い。
焼鳥を中心につまみを楽しめる「やっとこ」。値段は全体的に控えめでお得感がある。焼鳥のクオリティもそれなりに良い。
仲間内で飲んでも1人飲みでも楽しめる店。駅から少し離れた場所に良い店を発見した。
