祝日昼過ぎの来訪です。この日は沿線の別のお蕎麦屋さんに行ったところ、早めの夏季休暇期間に入られており、茗荷谷のこちらのお蕎麦屋さんに移動してきました。こちらのお店はしっかりと営業されていました。昼過ぎなので店内は空いていました。
オーダーはざるそば並＋海老天＋とり天です。10分ほど待って提供されました。
ざるそばは並でもまずまずのボリューム感です。おそば自体はまずまずのコシがありますが、味はとてもオーソドックスです。汁は平凡かなと思います。可もなく不可もない味と量でこれは万人受けしそうです。ただ天ぷらはちょっと賛否両論ありそうです。特に海老天は350円のサイドメニューにしては目を疑うほど小ぶりで味も微妙でした。とり天はまずまずの質・量がありますが、どちらの天ぷらも衣が厚めでカリカリした硬めの食感でした。ただ天つゆがあるのは良いですね。
場所柄貴重なお蕎麦屋さんですが、味には特別感や個性を感じにくく個人的には割高感を感じました。とはいえ、ずっと気になっていたお店でしたので良い来店機会になりました。ごちそうさまでした。
