Even the best food detectives can't decide which one to choose from this assortment of gourmet food, and eventually become a lost detective ☆ Meishotei ♪
We went to Oji's Meishontei with the president of our client, commonly known as Aniki, to whom we have been very indebted both in public and private life♪ On this day, the two of us sat across the corner of the counter☆ Aniki, a foodie, said, ``What is this place? Even if you eat it, it's delicious, so when you go to eat it, you end up getting confused.'', he said, not like a great food detective, but a lost detective (?). Aniki couldn't decide which one to go with, so she asked this young General Horie for a recommendation. And first, let's toast with draft beer♪ ■Appetizer Grilled turban shell and eggplant ■Fruit tomatoes Bright red, delicious-looking color♪ Sweet chilled tomatoes with high sugar content. ■ Lightly pickled water eggplant It retains just the right amount of texture and is perfectly marinated♪ You often eat water eggplant sashimi, but once you try this light pickled eggplant, I think you'll definitely like lightly pickled eggplant. I'll have some sweet potato shochu. ◇Mitake (Kagoshima) Aniki taught me how to drink potato shochu by mixing it with soda. ■ selection of sashimi octopus, lean tuna/medium fatty tuna, grouper, and finishing mackerel♪ The finishing mackerel is just right. It might be the best mackerel I've ever eaten. And this medium-fatty sashimi! There are no strings at all, and it's so soft that it melts in your mouth ♪ ■Shirayaki conger eel Thick and plump shirayaki conger eel♪ Serve as is with wasabi on top. You can eat it however you like, but I didn't add soy sauce because it has a sweet taste. All ingredients are fresh and safe. All the dishes were delicious and impressive. All the dishes are a bit pricey, but if you think you're buying something that gives you peace of mind and excitement, it might not be that expensive. Thank you for the meal m(__)m
A hideout where famous people gather that even detectives can't find ☆ Meishotei ♪
The store is located at the end of a dark hallway on the first floor of an old building, a 2-3 minute walk from Oji Station. ``Meishotei'' is a hidden Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in the Oji area that is known only to those in the know, and is frequented by local business owners and celebrities. I visited there twice about 5 or 6 years ago, but the food was good, but the prices were quite high, so I couldn't go there often and I ended up not going there anymore. Then, by chance, an opportunity arose to visit Meishotei again. The person who gave me such an opportunity was the president of my client, whom I admire as Aniki. He's a heavy drinker, a gourmet, a big eater, good at playing, kind to women, and a big man with a quick wit. This is the only place I call "Prince's Don Juan" (lol) Aniki gave me a nice invitation to have a drink that day...♪ And here is the designated restaurant. ``Meishotei''. For Aniki, this is the store she always uses for Oji business association gatherings, but for me, it's been quite a while since I've visited the store. I rushed over after work, but Aniki was already sitting somewhere in the middle of the small raised parlor, and had switched from draft beer to sweet potato shochu and soda. That majesty is just like Don Juan☆ I apologize for being a little late, and I get a draft beer, and we toast first♪ We report on our current situation and talk about work in between, and as we drink more and more drinks, we get more and more talkative. It's becoming. After finishing my draft beer, I also decided to mix the potato shochu with soda. ◇Potato shochu (Enishi) with soda This is also the way to drink it that Aniki taught me. When people ask me to mix potato shochu with soda, everyone looks at me in surprise, but when I try it, it's amazing♪ Without losing the unique flavor of potato shochu, it transforms into a refreshing, smooth, spring water-like mouthfeel. . Just the other day, Aniki suggested that I try the potato shochu with soda at Kurogirishima, so if I ever drink potato shochu in my life, I'll definitely do it with the soda! It's as delicious as I swore♪ If you've never had it before, please give it a try☆ ■Appetizer The sake-steamed clam soup has mitsuba leaves in it and has a very elegant taste♪ Aniki had already ordered it. Take the knob. ■Homemade corned beef patty Corned beef patty with low fat content♪ However, it has a strong flavor that is suitable for drinking. ■ Jaco Negi Salad Originally served as an omelet, it is served as a salad with Aniki Tsuru's voice ☆ I wonder if the moderate amount of salt was made with the older customers in mind (lol) As it is called Meishotei, it is served as a salad. After all, beef tongue dishes are a must. ■Salt-grilled Kuroge Beef Tongue Thick and juicy beef tongue is quickly grilled and served with a light amount of salt. Leave the first one as is, and add yuzu and pepper to the second one ♪ This is the recommended dish of the young chef who inherits the will of his predecessor.■ Beef skirt Steak The taste and juiciness exceeds that of salt-grilled beef tongue ♪ Chew into it The meat's juices and flavor are so delicious that it's like it's fused with your own body♪ When Aniki and I decided to have something to finish the meal, we noticed a sign saying ``New Soba.'' I heard that the owner handles everything from making the soba to cutting the soba. ■New soba Buckwheat flour from Chichibubetsu, Hokkaido ♪ The fragrant flavor of soba and the firm texture from perfect water mixing ☆ It was delicious with wasabi on top. A young proprietor has come to run the store, and although this has not made it any less appealing, the interior has become a little brighter, and it seems to be crowded with customers of all generations. Lately, I've started to use it a lot, not only for work-related purposes, but also for private purposes. All of the Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) dishes that have been made with a little effort can be praised as being delicious, and you won't find a restaurant in the Oji area that can surpass the taste here. There are about a dozen brands of sake and shochu in total, and if you let them know your preference, they'll pair it with your food. On this day, I drank draft beer and a strongly carbonated highball at a fairly fast pace in search of a fizzing sensation, and I didn't ask the chef for a pairing, but after all, alcohol can only be enjoyed with delicious food. The fatty tuna is, of course, incredibly delicious, and I'm also happy that the seri kakiage, which was originally supposed to use clams, was changed to [small collage and seri kakiage] because the clams were gone. It was a miscalculation ♪ And as expected, a good chef will show off his talent as a top-notch craftsman even when he makes soba noodles. You definitely want to end your meal with bamboo steamer soba♪ This handmade soba is a trinity of flavor, firmness, and smoothness, and is worth eating just by itself. Drinking a sip of Japanese sake, grabbing some soba noodles, and finishing off with a slurp of soba noodles might be a good way to look like a Gongenzaka celebrity. Thank you for the meal m(__)m
