After a quick craft beer tasting at Kojido near Oji Station, I decided to try out Uka, a Japanese sake and clay pot rice restaurant, which I found on Tabelog, with the aim of exploring new places near Oji Station. A few minutes' walk northwest from Kojido, past the 7-Eleven on the left, I discovered a small Sake Bars! It just opened in June and is run by the owner alone. When I entered the bar just after 9 p.m., there were no customers ahead of me, and the next customer was a customer I had met at Kojido, which surprised me a little (lol). The bar only has six counter seats, so it's extremely narrow! The stylish chair is a little big, so I hit my foot, but it was a little difficult to sit orz. The anime Mushishi was playing on the monitor behind the counter, and the owner is apparently acquainted with the original author. The sake is selected by the owner, and it seems that there are some brands that are hard to find, but we started with "Chuko Kasumi Junmai" from Tanaka Sake Brewery (Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture), which I had drunk a few years ago! For the second sake, we added "Tobitsuru" Tokubetsu Junmai Kamimouda from Mori Sake Brewery (Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture)! For the last sake, we finished with "Kazusa Fuji" Honjozo! Personally, the last Honjozo we drank was very delicious and didn't taste like Honjozo. The next customer treated us to some snacks, but we spent about an hour and a half leisurely drinking and chatting, and the bill came to 1,350 yen, a quick drink price! Next time, I might try their signature clay pot rice (there were Vermicular?-like clay pots lined up on the counter). I'll give it an overall rating of 3.6 stars! ↓To start off, we'll drink "Chuko Kasumi Junmai" from Tanaka Brewery (Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture)! ↓For the second glass of sake, we'll add "Tobitsuru" Tokubetsu Junmai Kamimuda from Mori Brewery (Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture)! ↓To finish off with sake, we'll drink "Kazusa Fuji" Honjozo, also from Mori Brewery!
