”じゃんご”で美味しいカレーを
食べたのですが、
時は禁酒令発令中の東京。
ビールを頼むことはかなわず。
どこかで、食後のコーヒーでも
いただきたいと探します。
王子駅、王子歩道橋を超えた
右手辺りを柳小路商店街と
呼ばれています。
なんでも、戦後の闇市を
ルーツに持つ商店街らしい。
昼間よりも、夜の方が
のん兵衛の心を
揺さぶるお店が並んでいるよう。
じゃんごをでて、
日高屋と不動産の間の路地へ入り、
柳小路商店街を散策してみます。
するとすぐ左手に、
桜をイメージさせる
コジャレた喫茶店らしきお店が。
どうも店内でコーヒーを
飲めそうなので入ってみることに。

・フレンチプレス ブレンド ＠500
コーヒー豆の販売が
メインのようですが
奥にイートインコーナーがあります。
注文カウンターで
先に注文＆支払を済ませるシステム。
メニューへ目を通します。
ブレンドを
ハンドドリップコーヒーと
フレンチプレスから選べるようで、
せっかくなのでフレンチプレスで。
支払を済ませ、奥のテーブルで待ちます。
木をたくさん使った
温もりを感じる内装。
清潔感があります。
少し待つとフレンチプレスが
運ばれてきました。
サーバーに移しての提供のようです。
サーバーからカップへ注ぎ
いただきます。
なかなかいい香り。
なめらかな口当たり。
やや温いのが残念ですが、
まろやかな味わいはよく。
ちょっと粉っぽさがあったのは
フレンチプレスだからと
言ってしまえばですが
やっぱり気になります。
フレンチプレスは難しいですね。
桜を使ったインテリアなど
柳小路商店街の憩いの場
というのがぴったりなカフェでした。
