I visited after 11 o'clock on a certain holiday in July 2023. Hue-ya is a Vietnamese Cuisine restaurant located about 5-6 minutes walk from Oji Station. There was only one customer in the reasonably sized store. I sat alone at a table and ordered ``Lunch B Set (Beef Rice Noodles + Half Banh mi)'' from the lunch menu for ¥900. For lunch drinks, you can choose from ``cola,'' ``oolong tea,'' and ``Vietnamese tea,'' so I requested ``Vietnamese tea.'' Drinks are served first. When I tried Vietnamese tea, I got the impression that it was something like this. A healthy tea with a slightly bitter taste. While I was drinking tea and waiting, a set of beef rice noodles and half Banh mi arrived. First, try eating beef rice noodles. Unlike pho, Vietnamese soup soba is served with thin noodles, but the soup has a good flavor with just the right amount of beef stock. Enjoy the rice noodles with onions, green onions, and thinly sliced beef. Beef rice noodles with a light taste suit the Japanese taste buds. The freshness of the onion has a nice effect. Enjoy the half Banh mi with vegetables served with hard French bread and a moderately sweet sauce. You can also feel the slight liver flavor, giving you a taste of Vietnamese Cuisine. You can customize the taste of beef rice noodles with garlic, chili pepper, lemon juice, and chili sauce on the table. It feels really good when you add plenty of garlic slices that still have some texture. Be careful not to add too much chili sauce and let it blend into the soup. It has a nice sourness and richness, allowing you to enjoy the rice noodle soup in a different way. It's quite filling with beef rice noodles and half Banh mi. A satisfying Vietnamese Cuisine lunch. While we were eating, there were two groups of Vietnamese customers. I'm glad that a restaurant has opened in the Oji area where you can enjoy authentic Vietnamese Cuisine. Next time, I would like to try the pho and spring roll set at Hueya.
