JR王子駅から豊島五丁目団地方面へ進むと、地元に人気のとんかつ屋さんがあります。今回こちらに突撃してみました。
店内へ入ると、とんかつ屋さんらしいこじんまりした感じ。昭和らしい雰囲気もあって、どことなく懐かしいです。
メニューを見ると、とんかつ屋さんなのにレバニラ炒めや親子丼などあまりメニューには無いものもあります。
今回注文したのは、定番ともいうべきロースとんかつ定食。どんな味なのかとても楽しみです。しばし待つことに。
約１０分程で出来上がりました。銀の皿に乗ったとんかつがとても美味しそうです。早速頂いてみることに。
まずはソースをかけて頂くと、肉はやや薄めだが旨味はしっかりと出ていて、ジューシーさも感じられてご飯が進む。
次に醤油、こちらは脂っこさが消えて和風のさっぱりとした味わい。これも御飯が進んでとても美味しい。
味は良かったのですが、もう少しとんかつの量があれば････････と思いました。他のお店と比べてやや小さめかも？
しかし、個人的に気になったのは「タバコ」です。ランチタイムは一般的に「禁煙」が多いのに、遠くから煙が･････････。
まっ、食後の一服が美味しいかもしれませんが、せめて外で吸ってもらいな～。嫌煙家の自分としては嫌な光景。
味が良かっただけに、タバコの件はちょっと考えてもらいたいな･･････と思い、支払いを済ませお店を後にしました。
こちらへの再訪は･････････現時点では難しいと思いました。でもとりあえず、ごちそうさまでした！
