十条駅の東口の目の前にあり、気になっていたお店にこの日初訪問。
気になりポイントは、”アヒルとカレー”と、メニューの平仮名とカタカナの妙な相互乗り入れです（地元さいたまにも、そんなお店あり）。写真ご参照ください。
11時30分のランチ営業開始直後で、私が一番乗りだったようです。
”アヒルとカレー”は気になりつつ、ランチに付属の”パラタ“に小麦が入っていそうで残すのは悪いな…と思い、”でしチケンとポラオ”をお願いしました。もはやそれぞれが何か、聞く気になりませんでした。
ドリンクも付くということで、ジンジャーエールを注文すると、品切れとのことで、店員さん「代わりにこちらはどうですか」と、ノンアルビールの缶を示されました。了解の旨伝え、後からメニューを見ると、Made in JapanのNINJA LAGERのようです。ノンアルビールをストローで飲むのは初めてかな…
本体のでしチケン、骨付きのもも肉が2片。スプーンでは食べづらいですが、箸の備え付けがあります。箸でつかんでかぶりつきました。それ以外に、何やら黒い破片があり、かじってみるとシナモンの香り。まさに桂皮。
ポラオはライスでしょうか？独特のパラパラした米が、サフランとフライドオニオンで味付けされています。独特の風味付けにこだわっている印象を受けました。
