30 seconds walk from the south ticket gate of JR Jujo Station ◆ Enjoy delicious and healthy "halal food" in a casual atmosphere ◎
Our restaurant serves rare "Halal dishes" that are rarely eaten in everyday life. Halal food is still a new industry, and the world has just started to pay attention to the market. It is known as high |
While I was in Jujo, I had lunch at a Bangladeshi restaurant. Jujo is called Little Dhaka because there are many food stores and curry shops run by Bangladeshi people. The khichuri and beef biryani were also appealing, but this time I had a duck curry and two-piece paratha set with a drink for 1,000 yen. For lunch, you can choose from ginger ale, coffee (iced or hot), and cola. I ordered ginger ale. The freshly fried, hot paratha was thin and delicious, like pie dough. The meat in the duck curry was very tender and went well with the paratha. The owner explained to me that the Bangladeshi song playing in the music video is very old, about 200 years old, and that it is being played by current musicians using a mix of classical and modern instruments. The high notes of the woman singing were very beautiful. I thought it was nice to be able to experience Bangladeshi culture while having lunch.
