和菓子のような歴史と繊細さ 明壽庵のあん食パン
明壽庵は、東京王子の地で明治・大正から続く老舗３社ーパンの明治堂(明)・久壽餅の石鍋商店(壽)・餡の王子製餡所(庵) に由来しています。 |
ママが買ってきたものを無理やり食べさせられるシリーズ。
今回は、食べさせられると見せかけて、実際には私の分がなかったという、悲しいお話です…。
ママが利用したのは、東京・北区の高級食パンのお店「明壽庵」。同じ北区のパンの名店「明治堂」、和菓子の「石鍋商店」、そして「王子製餡所」の3店の技術を結集させたお店だそう。
謎の豪華さだなァ。
「明壽庵」でママが購入したのは、「明壽庵ソフトミックス」なるアイスクリーム（税込430円）です。高けェよ、高けェよ…!
いや、値段が高いのは仕方ない。
問題は、「アイスなんて持って帰れるわけねぇだろ!?」と開き直ったママが、私の分を買って帰って来なかったことです…。
私の元にもたらされたのは、アイスのコーンが入れられていた三角錐の紙包装のみ。寂しすぎだろ。私を何だと思っているんだ。
一方、ママが「お土産はそっちじゃなくて、コレ!」と荒々しく主張したのは、「明壽庵」の看板メニューであろう高級食パン「こしあん食パン」（ハーフサイズ、税込750円）。結局高けェな、おい。
こしあん食パンは、それなりに餡が多く、なおかつ甘すぎない。
値段を見ないのであれば、美味しかったです。
