春なので、合格祝いの場所として選びました。
赤羽駅の周りは騒がしいので、穴場的なこの店にしました。
完全予約制で、当日は我々しか客がいなかったので、非常に落ち着いてゆっくりと食事が出来ました。
皆さんが書いているように、普通ではわかりにくい立地です。
この店は初めての訪問だったので、シェフお任せコースにしました。
料理が出てくる都度、シェフが料理の説明をしてくれます。(空いていたから？)
味は非常に美味しくて、丁寧な仕事をしています。
メインの魚・肉料理も繊細な味を表現していました。
出されるパンも、ちゃんと温めてあったり、途中ガーリックトーストにしてくれたり、飽きさせない工夫がありました。
ホールは奥さま？の担当みたいですが、イマイチ愛想がなく、電話での予約時の対応もちょっと？？？な感じでしたので、ここは改善の余地があると思いました。
せっかくのこじんまりした穴場的雰囲気のフレンチなのだから、もっと愛想よくすればリピーターや常連が増えるし、帰る時までより一層気持ち良く過ごせると思いました。
ワインも切らしているものがいくつかあって、そこも残念でした。
値段は決して安くはないですが、高くもなく・・・という感じですかね。
しかし、全体としては、この地域で他にこのような店がほとんどないので、お勧めですね。
