A Japanese restaurant located along the road a little outside of the bar district in front of Akabane Station. We use seasonal ingredients, mainly seafood, and the dishes tend to change daily depending on what's in stock. To finish off your drink, you can enjoy piping hot ``Tasuke-meshi'' steamed in a bamboo steamer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I guess it's on the way from Akabane Station to Akabane Iwabuchi Station. It's dimly lit compared to the hustle and bustle in front of the station, but there are a few hawkers selling food here and there. When you open the sliding sliding door covered with cloth, you will see a store with a vintage feel. There are three people, an older general, a young general, and a smiling proprietress. There are some low tables with tatami mats, but I get the impression that the customers are sitting at the counter. There are no prices listed other than ``5-item selection (3,000 yen)'' and ``fugu course (8,500 yen),'' so when ordering a dish, it's like asking the chef what they have. I've been here twice, and I've had a variety of sashimi, Tempura, stir-fried dishes, and cold dishes, and they've all been delicious, so I don't think I can safely order selection. An unusual dish is ``Daisuke Meshi,'' which is steamed rice and seasonal ingredients in a large steamer basket. The volume is quite large, so we recommend that you try it with a little extra energy. ( ̄ー ̄*) Not sure if there is one for one person The owner looks like a craftsman, so at first glance it might seem a little difficult to approach, but if you talk to him, he will tell you a lot about the ingredients and dishes, so even if you see it for the first time, you can continue eating. I think I'll get used to it over time. It has a friendly atmosphere with regular customers, and if it's in your neighborhood, it's a restaurant you can easily go to.
