赤羽からの帰り道、外から見るとなんだかお洒落な喫茶店。
珈琲の ”のぼり旗” が立っていて気になったので寄ってみました。
場所は東京北医療センターの近くで、埼京線の北赤羽駅と赤羽駅の中間あたりにあります。
赤羽台トンネルから北赤羽に向かう道は、車が多く人はそれほど歩いていません。
このお店の周辺は、公園が目の前にあるのでトイレ休憩しているタクシードライバーさんが多いですね。
店先の壁には、色々な絵が描かれており喫茶店と言うよりも一見穴場のレストラン？みたいなお洒落な雰囲気でした。
アイスコーヒを頼んだら、一緒に出してくれた「黒糖チョコ」がイイ感じで珈琲と合う。
これ黒糖好きの人にはたまらない味...
それに、暑かったので店員さんが気を利かしてくれて、可愛いうちわを人数分持ってきてくれたけど、気配り上手ですね。
隣のテーブルのお客さんがシフォンケーキを美味そうに食べていたので、ついつい・・・つられて頼んだオレンジのシフォンケーキが美味かった。
スポンジ生地がふんわりして、程よい甘さとオレンジの香りが抜群...
なんだか眠くなりそうな落ち着ける穴場の喫茶店でした。
