赤羽駅東口から線路沿いを北に、赤羽本町通り商店街中腹にできた中華＆タイ料理のバル。
最近この辺りにできるお店はかなりおしゃれで、当店もその一つになります。
平日夜に訪問。Ｌ字カウンターとテーブル席のこじんまりした店内に若い先客2組。
会話からすると早くも常連さんができているようでした。
お店には働き盛りの男性二人。明るく親切で安心です。
メニューは餃子や焼売、炒めものなどの中華に加え、煮込みやタイ料理が多数ありました。
価格は串焼きが200円台～で中心価格は5～600円ぐらいかな、リーズナブル。
バーの雰囲気があるように、料理もとってもおしゃれ。
本日のおすすめからしそ蒸し餃子300円と
レギュラーメニューからタイのサラダ、ヤムウンセン590円をお願いしました。
しそ蒸し餃子はミニせいろで提供。透き通った皮がきれいな二個。
餡が詰まり、しかもジューシーさもあって、しその風味とぷるんとした皮の食感が楽しい。
つけダレが中華スパイス仕込みで少し甘めの濃厚なもので、
かなりこだわりが感じられました。
ヤムウンセンは小皿ですが溢れんばかりの山盛りで、
エビや松かさイカもたっぷり。
エスニックなドレッシングもバッチリでとても洗練されたおつまみ揃いでした。
気取らずに寄れるし腕もいい、ナイスなお店でした。
