2020年10月某日の11時過ぎに訪ねた。
新三河島駅を出て徒歩4,5分ほどの場所にある居酒屋「熱海屋」。
ランチタイムの店内は7割方客で埋まっていた。
カウンター席に1人で座り「カツオの竜田揚げ」¥800をお願いする。
7,8分ほど待って提供される。
カツオの竜田揚げが乗った大皿にご飯、味噌汁、小鉢、漬物の組み合わせ。
カラッと揚がったカツオの竜田揚げを食べてみる。前日の残りのカツオを漬けにして揚げたものだろう。鮮度はあまり良くないが、それなりに美味しく食べられる。
オクラの素揚げが添えられているのは嬉しい。キャベツ、トマトと共にカツオの竜田揚げを味わう。
小鉢料理も切り昆布の煮物。やや濃いめの味付けでご飯のおかずになる。
定食としてのバランスは非常に良い。値段に比べるともうちょっとおかずにボリュームが欲しいところではある。
居酒屋が提供する定食らしい感じはあった。広々とした店内でテーブル席も豊富にあったので、夜の飲み食いをしてみたいと思った。
定食のバリエーションも程好いので使い勝手は非常に良い。
