自分の中でナンカレーブームが再来した。
いつもは南千住のナンカレー店を利用しシーフードカレーとバターチキンカレーを頼むが、今日は町屋のムンバイにした。
というのも、このお店は以前利用しており、バターチキンカレーを食べていた。
ナンカレーブームの再来ということもあり、このお店のメニューを食べログで調べてみると、１つ興味をそそるカレーが新メニューとして登場していた。
早速、自転車をかっ飛ばしてムンバイ町屋店へ行く。
午後14時ごろで店内は結構空いている。
店頭のテイクアウトメニューを見て値段を確認して注文したのが、
新メニュー（？）海老とマッシュルームのカレー（子供向け？）である。
マイルド（甘口）に子供のマークがついていたが、メニューの名前だけですぐに決断した。
ランチセットだと690円。
カレー、ナン、ライス、タンドリーチキン、付け合わせで690円はかなり安い。
他のお店なら900円位は取られる。
私はこのテイクアウトメニューに100円追加でマンゴーラッシーもオーダー。
アツアツのカレーを抱えて、自宅で早速いただいた。
お店によって差が出るナンの味は、香ばしい小麦の香りに、フカフカのナンが美味しい。
これだけでも美味しく食べられるほど上質な小麦粉を使っているのだろう。
そしてお目当ての海老とマッシュルームのカレーは非常にマイルドな仕上がり。
結構な生クリームと、歯ごたえのある海老が４つ、ぶつ切りのマッシュルーム数個それぞれが、ナンとの相性がよく、もちろんライスにかけても美味しい。
これで690円なら何度も通ってしまうし、月一でこの海老とマッシュルームのカレーを買いに行くか、バターチキンカレー＆海老とマッシュルームのカレーの２種類のカレーをつけたセットで注文してしまうほどだ。
再訪確定だ。町屋でナンバー１だろう。
