Enjoying the night in Minowa with yakitori and alcohol ♪ The "mountain wasabi rice" is quite delicious...I had a blissful time savoring it together with a plum wine on the rocks.

[Tabelog Yakitori EAST 100 Best Restaurants 2023] I went to "KOU" in Minowa at night. This restaurant is a new one that I've been checking out for a while. From the counter seat I ordered the following, as shown in the photo. ・Appetizer 500 yen ・Liver (with sauce) 2 skewers 220 yen x 2 ・Gizzard 2 skewers 220 yen x 2 ・Quail soft-boiled eggs 2 skewers 270 yen x 2 ・Draft beer 600 yen ・Plum wine on the rocks 600 yen ・Mountain wasabi rice 630 yen ・Special soup 240 yen Total 3,990 yen (tax included) I paid with PayPay. The value is also good. It's reasonable. (Note 1: When I ordered yakitori, I was told to order 6 or more skewers. Of course, I could order 6 skewers by skewers.) As for the taste, the appetizer was already seasoned to go well with alcohol. I responded with a draft beer. The yakitori is especially delicious, with the liver being tender and tender. I was reminded once again how deep the liver is. Of particular note is the "mountain wasabi rice." Simply put, the combination of mountain wasabi and rice is a bit of a cheat... and it's insanely delicious. The waiter explained how to eat it, and I savored it with a glass of plum wine on the rocks, occasionally smacking my nose. It was a blissful moment. Oh yes, apparently I was eating it with gusto, but the people next to me ordered the same thing lol. They said, "I ordered it because you looked like you were eating it lol."
