下町の和菓子屋には、おいなりさんや海苔巻などは置かないちょっといい店と
おいなりさんや団子やぼたもちが充実した所謂「駄餅屋」さんがあって、
こちらは後者。
店にそれほど風情がわるわけでもなく、通過しようと思ったのだが、
「自家製プリン」があるのに気が付いた。
駄餅屋さんは、たまにプリンなんぞ置いていることがあって、
こういう店のプリンは確実に昔ながらのプリンなのだ。
プリン原理主義者としては、「生クリームがたっぷり入った
とろとろプリンなどプリンではない！」のである。
というわけで、和菓子屋なのだが、プリンとお団子を購入。
おだんごは店頭にあるのはサンプルで、注文すると作ってくれる。
（っていってもチンしてるんだけどね。(^_^;)）
ストックしていて、注文ごとに解凍と焼きをやっているのではないかと思う。
電子レンジ加熱しているとはいえ、あったかいのは結構おいしい。
そして、プリンは予想通りの古臭いやつ。いいねー。
並びの中華の一力家同様、こちらも店主は70代とおぼしき方。
10年後にはお店はきっともう無いだろう。
今のうちに行っておけてよかった。
