荒川区の狭い路地奥にあるの「ランラン」はオープン50年越えの町中華。
看板が表にないと存在には気づかないほどの小さなお店。この看板も色褪せて店名も読み取れなくなっている。
地元でも訪れる人は少ないお店だが、再び知名度を上げたのが「マツコの知らない世界」。
入り口には亭主が腰を痛め、提供に時間がかる旨の張り紙が。他に店員の姿はなく、ワンオペなのだろう。オンエアで客も増えただろうに、大丈夫か。
ほぼ付近の方の飲みの場として機能している模様で、この日もビール片手に地域ネタで
盛り上がっている。一体どんな人が食べに行くのだろう？とずっと思っていたが、納得。
この日は客の発案によるメニュー名らしい「あれの味噌」というラーメン。
油脂感あっさり系の味噌に辛味の程よい刺激。シンプル系もたまにはいい。腰を痛めても丁寧に調理してくれたことに感謝。
実に小さな商圏に根差したアットホームな中華。付近住民も知らない世界であった。
