2021年9月のとある休日の12時過ぎに訪ねた。
町屋駅から徒歩5分ほどのビル2Fにある和風居酒屋の「和食ごはんと酒 縁 町屋店」。
程好い広さの店内には先客なし。
広々としたテーブル席に1人で座り、ランチメニューから「刺身の盛り合わせ定食（3種）」¥990を注文。
メニューを見ると、バリエーションの多さに驚く。海鮮メニューの方が多いので、初体験の「縁」は刺身で試してみる。
10分ほど待って提供される。
まぐろ、サーモン、鯛の3種の刺身と小鉢料理、ご飯、味噌汁、漬物の組み合わせ。
小皿に醤油を入れて刺身から味わう。程好い厚みで食べやすい。刺身自体の鮮度も良い感じでちょうど良い塩梅。サーモンの脂の乗りも良い。
ワサビも添えて、大葉と大根のつまも使って刺身を楽しむ。
小鉢料理の金平ゴボウも刺身とご飯の合間に楽しみながら、味噌汁も味わう。
いずれも良い味だが、もう一品おかずがあるとバランスが良いとは感じた。
990円という値段設定は高くも安くも無いという印象。豊富なランチメニューを提供しているので毎日通っても飽きない「縁」。
本来の居酒屋利用で酒とつまみを楽しむのも良いかもしれない。
