I visited the restaurant just after 11am on a certain day in February 2022. Yakiniku (Grilled meat) "Master Kitchen" is located in the basement of Lions Plaza Machiya, a 5-minute walk from Machiya Station. There were no other customers in the moderately sized restaurant. I sat alone at a table and ordered the "Harami Set Meal" from the lunch menu for 935 yen. I waited about 7-8 minutes for it to be served. A combination of harami, cabbage, kimchi, rice, and soup. I grilled the harami on a grill in front of me and enjoyed my Yakiniku (Grilled meat) lunch. The harami was a good size, with a light aftertaste and just the right softness. I dipped the harami in the sauce and enjoyed it with rice. The salad served was cabbage seasoned with sauce. It's hard to deny that it's a bit of a shortcut, but the combination of cabbage and Yakiniku (Grilled meat) is not bad. I enjoyed the golden combination of the orthodox Chinese cabbage kimchi, harami, and rice while savoring the soup with seaweed and green onions. The soup was a bit thick, but I liked it. Refills of rice and soup are free, so I ordered more soup. The amount of rice is quite large from the start, so one bowl was enough considering the balance with the meat. I finished the "skirt steak set meal" from the master kitchen, which left me feeling just the right amount of full. There's nothing particularly special about it, but it's not bad either. As it's run by foreign staff, it's also unusual in that it serves curry and other halal foods.
