町屋駅近くにある「カド珈琲店」は、周辺で法要料理や割烹店を展開するお店が、カフェ業態として2018年オープン。
幅広く食材を扱うこともあり、コーヒーだけではなく手軽なフードメニューも大変豊富で構成はまるで「軽食レストラン」。
スイーツは4種類。
一番人気はチーズケーキ。和食店で人気であったスイーツメニューもカフェでも提供。
がっつり重量感があり生地状のチーズクリームがしっかり味わえる。
ホワイトチョコレートなど他の素材頼らず、チーズクリームを活かす甘味付けが実に魅力。
プリンは、お〜と、思わずスマホを向けたくなる外観のクレームブリュレ風。
表面をキャラメリゼし、果物で飾り、そして甘みを抑えた分、卵白を含んだ卵感しっかり感じられる。テクスチャーもゲル化剤的な弾力がない所がなく、砂糖の味が変化したパリパリのカラメルがさらなる好印象。
本来珈琲についてもっと語るべきなのだろうが、スイーツの充実度にこのような内容になってしまうのである。
