Visited on the afternoon of March 3, 2020. I eat at various restaurants every day, but I've finally found a great restaurant that's really hidden away! It's about a 5-minute walk from Minowa Station, and it's on the first floor of a modern Japanese Ryokan that's quietly located in an alleyway. You can eat very nice Japanese-style meal food! It seems that it's only been a new restaurant for about a month, as it started serving meals on February 4, 2020. There was a fairly wide selection on the menu, but this time I ordered the "Steamed Vegetable Set Meal (1,000 yen)". Since it's steamed vegetables, it takes a little time to be served, but you'll be served fresh and steamy vegetables♪ [Steamed vegetables] ・Potatoes *It takes time to steam, so they'll be served later. ・Asparagus ・Broccoli ・Shimeji mushrooms ・Cabbage It was quite a large portion, but you can eat it with three different flavors: salt, sesame sauce, and basil salt & olive oil! [Miso soup] The rich and refined taste seeped right into my stomach♪ It also comes with shredded yam, pickled vegetables, and rice. [Coffee] They use coffee beans that are specially blended for Fukuandon by "tonbi coffee" in Takasaki, so the coffee alone is worth it! The shop has a Japanese-style raised platform, nice sofa seats, a wide counter, and each seat is a wonderful space. The proprietress and the shop staff were very friendly and wonderful. They also have Wi-Fi, so it was a special shop where you could work while drinking coffee. They are open from 7am to 10pm, so you can use it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and more! It was a wonderful shop that I would like to visit again and again in the future!
