北千住駅東口からのびる学園通り商店街を抜け、細い路地に入ると、途端に昭和にタイムスリップしたような「柳原商栄会」という商店街が広がります。迷路のような路地を抜けてたどり着く『稲荷寿し 松むら』。稲荷寿司の老舗である、浅草の『まつむら』初ののれん分けとして、昭和39年に北千住の柳原に開いた歴史があります。落語家の立川談志さんも愛した店で、店内には有名人のサインがずらり。持ち帰り専用の店ですが、評判を聞いて遠方から買いに来るお客さんも少なくないそう。運動会など地域のイベントがある時やお盆やお彼岸は、特に大忙し。１日に1000個の予約が入る時もあるそう。

稲荷寿司3個と干瓢巻のセット。稲荷寿司は、甘辛く煮た油揚げが柔らかな食感で、噛むと甘みがジュワッと広がります。油揚げに包まれるご飯は、時期によって2種類。9月のお彼岸あたりから年をまたぎ、5月下旬前後までは人参、蓮根、昆布などを混ぜた五目寿司。それ以外の、梅雨のあたりからお彼岸前までの蒸し暑い時期は、ケシの実を振ったシンプルな酢飯になります。歴史ある稲荷寿司を満喫。ご馳走さま
