ＪＲ北千住駅の北西、日光街道西側の大門商店街のお店。
創業５０年の老舗寿司屋で、８０歳代の大将は健在ながら現在は若大将が寿司を握る。
まずは外観。
錆びだらけのトタン張りの壁面にひん曲がった看板。
入口によれよれの暖簾が掛かっているが、営業中かどうか訝しい状況。
ＴＶなどでの露出度は意外に高く、壁にはその様子が張り出されている。
名物の「炙り穴子押」をテイクアウト。
新鮮な穴子を炙って、特製のタレで味付けした押し寿司。
あっさりとした味付けで、芳ばしい香りが食欲をそそる。
老舗の年輪を感じさせる味わい。
