JR北千住駅西口から徒歩4分ほどの銀座コージーコーナー 北千住西口店はチェーン洋菓子店。西口を出て駅前通りを日光街道(国道4号線)に向かうと右側にある。
休日の15時位に伺うと、先客は足立区っぽいヤンキーカップル。なかなかケーキが決まらないのも微笑ましい感じだが、チョッとめんどくさい。ここは手が空いている店員さんをつかまえて、そう間隙を突いて購入。そういえば昔、マイレビュアーさん達の間で｢セコイおっさん選手権｣というのがあり、新松戸店で70円のマドレーヌ1個を買ったのもコージーコーナーだったっけ。

ラム酒の香りと熊本県産柑橘ピールの爽やかさが特徴のフルーツケーキ。
今回172円と相変わらずセコイ感じだが、洋酒が効いたケーキはウイスキーのアテにも悪くない。
さて皆さんは今回のフルーツケーキの下に敷いてある布の猫をご存知だろうか？リサラーソンの猫で有名だが、名前は｢マイキー｣。リサラーソンとは、絵本｢BABY NUMBER BOOK｣の発売をきっかけに、大人気となったブランド。陶器製のオブジェの他、家具や収納雑貨、生活に必要な日用品などが多数販売されているという。マイレビュアーさんのご自宅にあるテーブルクロスが気になったので私も購入してみたが、商品よりも背景が目立っちゃうのが難点かしらねぇ。
